As of June 14, 2017, there have been more than 600 fatalities in the state of Georgia alone! The numbers will increase as we move into the summer months. Students are out of school and families are going on summer vacations. As a result, drivers are more distracted and the fatalities increase.
July 4, an upcoming holiday, is the deadliest day for automobile fatalities in the country. The month of August, is the deadliest month for teen fatalities. According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control), the following information should be discussed by parents with their teen/young adults drivers. Parents are the most important advocate in assuring their children become responsible drivers.
